Reference is made to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad’s query letter dated 25 January 2010, requesting for the following additional information for public release:

1. The reason(s) Maintenance Engineering Sdn Bhd rejected and denied Leader Cable Industry Berhad’s demand for the outstanding amount

The amounts were rejected on the grounds that Maintenance Engineering Sdn Bhd did not receive some of the goods that were supposedly delivered by the Plaintiff and the Plaintiff had not delivered the rest of the goods in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract.
