Reference is made to the Company’s announcement made on 6 May 2026.
The Board of Directors of the Company (“the Board“) wishes to announce that upon the Audit and Risk Management Committee’s recommendation, the Board has on 17 July 2026, approved the appointment of Messrs Grant Thornton Malaysia PLT (“Grant Thornton“) as the external auditors of the Company for the financial year ended 30 June 2026 and to hold office until the conclusion of the next Annual General Meeting of the Company.
The appointment of Grant Thornton was made pursuant to Section 271(2)(b) of the Companies Act 2016, to fill the casual vacancy following the resignation of the former auditors.
Grant Thornton has consented to act as the external auditors of the Company, and the appointment is effective from 17 July 2026.
The appointment was made after careful consideration by the Board, taking into account Grant Thornton’s experience, capabilities, independence, proposed audit fees and suitability to serve as the external auditors of the Company.
